We all hope for world peace, but the signpost that I’ll be talking about today is not exactly worldwide in scope. It is more specific than that. The context of this prophetic update is Peace in the Middle East. Today we look at an incredible development – it is the Peace accord between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. If you ever want to know how close we are to the end, keep your eye on Israel. As Israel goes, so goes the prophetic timeline.
This peach accord is dubbed the Abraham Accords.
The UAE joins Egypt and Jordan in making peace with Israel.
This accord further divides the Muslim community along Sunni and Shiite lines.
This is the forerunner of several coming alliances.
It will culminate with the Peace Accord of the Antichrist:
The Day of the Lord is Near 1-2
Every Christian should understand the end times.
The Day of the Lord is the end time period of history.
It will be characterized by judgment.
The Day of the Lord begins with the Rapture - 1 Thess 4.
The Calm before the Storm 3
The first horseman of the Book of Revelation brings war.
Peace and safety is a false sense of security.
The world will break out in war and destruction.
The Daniel 9 Covenant:
The second event of the Day of the Lord is the covenant of peace. Daniel 9:27
It is known as the “Covenant of many,” Because it is with many nations.
Some nations will be antagonistic to the peace process.
The Arab nations will be polarized by pro and anti Iranian sentiments.
Israel benefits because the enemy of my enemy is my friend!
Russia will strengthen its alliances with the Pro-Iranian forces.
This seems to follow the prophetic framework.
The Ezekiel 38 war
This war will happen during the Great Tribulation.
It will happen when Israel is dwelling safely. Ezekiel 38:11
Ezekiel 38:1-6 contains a list of the alliance of nations.
This is the Pro-Iranian alliance that is against the peace process.
Antichrists will win the war and become world leader.
Jesus is coming soon, and prophecy is nearing its completion. All around us are the sign posts that point to an escalating and speedy fulfillment of prophecy. Even so Lord Jesus come. This should cause all Christians to watch carefully and continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It is also a cause for rejoicing because God did not appoint us to wrath!
