2020 will go down as the year of the Great Reset! The Bible claims that just before the end of days a Great Delusion will sweep through the world, and most everyone will be taken in by it! This very thing was predicted in the Bible over 2000 years ago!
#1 Our leaders will Deceive Us - 9
The Lawless One the Antichrist.
He will use four political tactics to deceive the world:
#1 POWER: He will be a power broker.
#2 SIGNS: His abilities will mesmerize the world.
#3 LYING WONDERS; All the world shall be amazed.
#4 UNRIGHTEOUS DECEPTION
He will stoop to any level, no matter how low, to gain power.
Christians should be skeptics.
Don’t believe half of what you hear.
The only thing I do take at face value is the Bible.
False prophets will deceive, if possible, even the elect. Matt 24:24
Don’t let any man deceive you. Mt 24:4
#2 Society will be Deceived - 10
Deception will be widespread among the unsaved.
Numerous good people believe false narratives.
The secular agenda is hostile to the people of God.
People love their own opinions more than they love the truth.
#3 God Himself will blind their minds – 11-12
God will harden their heart in unbelief.
Pharaoh hardened his heart against God…
So God hardened pharaoh’s heart!
God will give them up to their desires. Romans 1:24, 26, 28
They believe the lie because they love their sin.
The big lie is that the Antichrist is the Messiah.
The Great Deception is a signpost of the end of days. The times we live in are times a great deception, preparing the way for the end time deceiver. If you can’t see that the world is being duped, it may be that your faith is not skeptical enough! Don’t buy into any narrative, only buy into the Truth of God’s Word. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word will last forever.
